Fire Chief Jeff Santi started in the fire service in 1992 as a County Fire volunteer while also working within a family business, promoting to Lieutenant in 1998 and Captain in 2001. At the same time as working as a volunteer, he also was employed with Mi Wuk Sugar Pine PFD, Twain Harte Fire Department and Tuolumne Fire District. He was hired full time with Tuolumne Fire District in 2012 as a Fire Apparatus Engineer and promoted to Captain in 2013. He is currently the Training Officer and is responsible for keeping all of the District's vehicle fleet maintained and repaired. In March of 2024 he was promoted to Full Time Fire Chief for the Tuolumne Fire District.
