Captain Santi started in the fire service in 1992 as a County Fire volunteer while also working within a family business, promoting to Lieutenant in 1998 and Captain in 2001. At the same time as working as a volunteer, he also was employed with Mi Wuk Sugar Pine PFD, Twain Harte Fire Department and Tuolumne Fire District. He was hired full time with Tuolumne Fire District in 2012 as a Fire Apparatus Engineer and promoted to Captain in 2013. He is currently the Training Officer and is responsible for keeping all of the District's vehicle fleet maintained and repaired.
